Ji Dan Mian Bao! where Bread and Egg pave the way for love. after years and years of wonderful procrastination, J2 are back again with their second joint blog, which is deemed to survive their laziness in updating and they won't let it die, even if they have to eat it up. The site name has been chosen with love, where they decided on a greatly missed snack only to be enjoyed in their younger schooling days. Long live you, Ji Dan Mian Bao!

What's nice on a rainy day after swimming in the rain? :D

STEAMBOAT!!

Having had my first steamboat sampling a few weeks ago, i'm all ready for the second time today when papa offered to treat us to dinner before my brother leaves for camp.

However, what we got for $27 was a few pieces of fish(i only ate 2 miserable pieces!), a few pieces of cabbage, 5 cubes of yam and miserable strands of seaweed. I doubt there was even one whole fish inside. :/ Luckily, the soup was quite good. Plus the belacan. Chilli lover. :D

Next up we had another dish, tofu with minced pork, which isn't that bad, although it's easy to duplicate. :p

Although a little too bland, it's soft and silky, and the outer layer was abit crispy as well. The pork texture was weird though~

Ah! The rice was pretty good as well.

Dad says that he'll bring us to steamboat buffet next time, hope it's true. :X

Any recommendations?
