Ji Dan Mian Bao! where Bread and Egg pave the way for love. after years and years of wonderful procrastination, J2 are back again with their second joint blog, which is deemed to survive their laziness in updating and they won't let it die, even if they have to eat it up. The site name has been chosen with love, where they decided on a greatly missed snack only to be enjoyed in their younger schooling days. Long live you, Ji Dan Mian Bao!

Breakfast is
something i look forward to every night before i sleep,
the meal i never skipped,
and my favourite meal of the day~

Let's talk about some of my breakfast staples! (Not in any order)

1. Oatmeal!

Breakfast staple before school of oatmeal with milk(MUST!), raisins, sugar and the occasional strawberries.

2. Masala Thosai!

Thosai is kind of like indian crepe. It's supposed to be thin and crispy, and a little little bit sour, made from lentils and rice blended with water and left to ferment~ So if you ate one that's thick, chewy and taste like flour, it's probably not the traditional thosai. :/ Masala thosai is thosai stuffed with mainly mashy potatoes with some other spices and veggy like onions, cabbage and green chilli! Thosais are supposed to be served with 3 kinds of curries, i love the white one! Always request for more~ hee~

3. Mr Bean!
I love pancakes from Mr Bean! My favourite is red bean or cheese! They use Laughing Cow brand cheese, which is like perfect match with the soft pancake with abit of crispy skin for some reason!

4. Yong Tau Fu!

Love the stall at Bedok Interchange. Only opened in mornings though~ They stuff their own ingredients and the soup tastes wonderfully home-made. 20cents a piece!

Others are waffles(red bean or peanut butter) and breads~ But i often eat them out of breakfast times though.
WAFFLES ARE LOVE! :D
